You know when your a total muppet who claims to be a reporter, then reports live on Facebook from outside a court house on a case with a no reporting ban. This is what happens, guess it doesn't help that he is as guilty of hate speech as the ppl he protests about. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-48950672

The judiciary don't like it when you mess with the courts, he's brought it on himself.

He claims to be a journalist, he should therefore have been aware of the reporting ban. He then decided to ignore the law and stream it live to the Internet. Stupid is as stupid does.

I'm not convinced one way or the other about Tommy Robinson. On the one hand he appears to be a racist A**hole. On the other side he does measure up as a person who believes in what he is saying enough to face down the law and go to prison happily for what he believes to be the truth.
Now I don't have a side in this debate but he was sent to prison for reporting on grooming gang targeting under age girls. You might well say, why was there a reporting restriction in the first place?
You can call him the far right, I can respect your aversion, but everything he has done to date has been remarkably focussed on getting to the truth and has paid a huge price for fighting the establishment. An outcome he expected all along.
Sometimes we need to re- evaluate

He was guilty of contempt of court, contempt of our system designed to enable a fair trial. There's nothing to stop him reporting on people who have been found guilty, but until then people are presumed innocent and entitled to trial by an unbiased jury.
If some idiot makes it impossible for an unbiased jury to be found then the accused, guilty or not, will walk free.

He has no interest in reporting factually on anything other than Muslims Sex offenders. If he wasn't the far right wanker he is then surley at some point he would have reported on the EDL members found guilty and jailed for child sex acts. Or doesn't that count as their white British peodophiles? As for him going to jail for his beliefs, well there's no such thing as bad publicity is there? How many folk do you recon have softened to him for the same reasons you mention above?
