So there may finally be some comeuppance for these serial liars and crooks! Why has it taken a crowd funded private prosecution to make that happen? Don't we have any constitutional protections against baldfaced lying by our MPs? I can't wait to see them start getting dragged off to jail

I dread Boris becoming PM. We are already an international laughing stock. He will make it worse!!

Well good on whoever sorted that out. I find most of them an embarrassment, to be honest, but he is particularly awful.

All politicians should be held accountable for their false lies and I'm really glad its gone this way. It's been a long time coming.

Probably but it might put a kink in his leadership bid! 😅

His lies are just rediculous though. He tweeted that he's voted in a recent local election, only to be found out there wasn't a local election in his area! That's just an example.

Trump did the same though, and was supposedly about to be prosecuted for sexual assault. It made no difference.

Start learning a contact sport to defend yourselves against neds that want what you have, grow your own veg in hidden locations , barter amongst your circle of friends, travel in convoy when attending events. The corruption that is rife within the corporate and political world is not going away. I am a realist not a pessimist Its not going to get better. You can not convince a whole load of greedy fat cats and politicians to grow a conscience. If there is a buck to be made these people will sell their granny down the river or destroy the planet in the process - which ever is more profitable to them.
Now is the time to find solutions that will allow you to slip out side the cracks... and escape when you need to.

Don't hold your breath, Its never going to happen
The alleged prosecution is supposedly being brought by a very dodgy character called Marcus Ball (mad as a box of frogs) who allegedly has awarded himself a £24,000 salary from the fund on day one.
Last I heard he has failed to find a barrister willing to take on the case so the likely outcome is that the story will just fizzle out and Marcus Ball will continue quietly paying himself the salary until the money runs out (which may well have been his plan all along)
After all the much publicised scams associated with crowdfunded appeals for Grenfell tower I would have thought that crowd funding would have been jumped on by now.
It was intended for schools to raise money for sports equipment and to send kids to America for cancer treatment.
Instead it has become a scammers delight with all sort of cynical people trying to rip off well intentioned people ( mugs?) with fake stories and heart tugging appeals about all sorts of things that don't really exist.

Corbyn was my MP for nearly ten years and I met him and had dealings with him on quite a number of occasions. The man is a complete snake, arrogant shithead, bone idle and a compulsive liar. He looks down on us with contempt he doesn't even try to conceal. Don't be fooled by him, he is not how he is portrayed Given a choice between him and Boris would be a very hard choice for me to make. Neither I would say. Are these the best we can put forward?

Boris is saying the prosecution is an attempt to "sabotage Brexit", possibly it is, in the same way that telling lies about the £350m per week was an attempt to sabotage our place in the EU.
Pot, Kettle, maybe they're both liars.

Turkey has been trying to get itself included in the EU since 1961 and guess what they are still not in. Don't worry Brexit is not going to happen - we will still be sat here discussing it in 20 years. We are not leaving - its a story line that has been blown out proportion as a distraction to take you away from what they the Government are really up to.

so he has been cleared then Not at all. The ruling was that the alleged offence was supposed to cover conversations between parties and not made public. Boris made his statement publicly, so the charges did not apply. A triumph for his lawyers, a travesty for the public - what's new ?
