Even although I have a different job every couple of weeks to a month I don't really do job applications. Either I phone an agency or an agency phones me but tonight I filled in my first job application in possibly 20 years.
I don't have a CV. So I just wrote what I think I needed to say in the cover letter. This is a copy of it
Time served bricklayer, done more stone and blocks than brick. Can also do any ground works including, drainage ,setting out, reading drawings, concrete , stabbing and hard landscaping . Can do most things an the building side of it but can't rough cast, never learnt how too.
I have my own camper van which I live in so don't need accommodation, I am not looking for onsite camping as I'm like everyone else and want to leave work at the end of the day. Access to fresh water would be handy, other wise I'm self sufficient
I'm decent t what I do and will say if I can't do something rather than have a go and fuck it up. I try not to make mistakes as I can't be arsed sorting things, it's easier to do it the first time.
Unfortunately I'm like everyone else and need money to survive. I would really like it if you paid me £25 an hour cash in hand
But in reality if I'm getting £20+ per hour CIS then that also woks.
I've got most of my own tools but would need a mixer, sthil saw etc supplied.
If you feel the need to contact me please do it by phone as I hate computers, I'm not one to spend all day looking at a phone either but if it rings I will try and answer or phone back
Cheers, Mike. 079whogivesafuck
P.S I'm a miserable basted hat never smiles so don't worry about me looking miserable, I am a Brickie after all
and no one has ever heard of a happy Brickie
i will ill kep you all posted on how it goes but I do fancy spending the summer in the highlands.
I ain't affaid of no midgies
