Well the clocks have gone forward into summertime, Personally I don't see the point. Can't we just leave the clocks? The native Americans say "only a white man would think cutting the top off a blanket and sowing it to the bottom gives you a longer blanket' What do you reckon?

It doesnt bother me but id rather they put us on summer time and leave it there permanently It worked fine years ago when we were on it three years.Just the friggin farmers -who get up in the dark anyway -and unions moaned.
If folks here had equatorial time theyd be moaning its only daylight for 12 hours every day and goes pitch black within half hour of sunset.
Folks here are never happy.

In an ideal world I would like it to go dark at 8pm every day, year round. Obviously that's not down to the clocks!!

i'm fed up with putting the clocks forward in spring and back again in the autumn, what the heck for? its not like farmers need it anymore they all have lights on their tractors and harvesters and stuff, I suppose our Scottish friends might complain but then Mrs Krankie is always complaining.

My birds are equatorial, day and night are equal length where they live, and being stuck in a part of the world which has such wildly changeable day/night lengths, sends their hormones, and thus their behaviour, all over the place.
Not their fault, not mine either, so I manage as well as I can with biting, squabbling, trying to nest everywhere and screaming to mark their territory. Another month or so and it will start to ease off, then they will start ramping up again around the midwinter solstice. 🤔

I can honestly say it doesn't make any difference to me what so ever. I am only peripherally aware of the clock. Biggest effect it has on me what time the shops close
